The Transcendental Meditation Yogic Flying Technique: Intended Benefits In Brainwave Synchrony

Transcendental Meditation and Yogic Flying
Although it's pretty cool to hop around without expending much energy, and with bubbling happiness, the real purpose of the TM-Sidhi programme is the accelerated expansion of consciousness. And a global benefit is said to be an enlivening of collective consciouness in the environment surrounding those doing the TM-Sidhi programme, helping to bring about world peace.
I can honestly say that the change in my own life experience after doing the Transcendental Meditation-Sidhi course was quite phenomenal. It wasn't just sales talk on the part of the TM organization. The TM-Sidhis definitely do take one to a new level of awareness and ease in daily life. Has anyone hovered or gone beyond 'hopping'?
To this day I am not aware of anyone using the TM-Sidhi programme who has actually experienced the classic levitation mentioned in various books about saints and yogis. That is, I know of no one who has progressed beyond the hopping stage of yogic flying, and risen smoothly off the floor, hovered in the air for some time and then descended smoothly back to terra firma. If there are indeed people doing this, then I am not aware of it. My guess is that this could account for some of the ridicule I've read regarding Maharishi, TM and the so-called yogic flying programme. But one thing is for sure:
Based on my own personal experience, the hopping stage of the flying technique definitely does occur. And the experience brings with it bubbling happiness. It is definitely exhilarating; and one does lift off the mattress in a way not likely or possible without the technique. Moreover, it is all pretty effortless. I certainly cannot imagine myself going through that hopping movement as effortlessly, without breathing heavily and using my leg muscles, unless I were using the flying sutra. So from my own perspective, the TM-Sidhis do have a profound effect of some kind. Yogic flying with Conscious Mental Rest© (CMR)
Of interest, I have experimented with the TM-Sidhi sutras after a session of my own Conscious Mental Rest© form of meditation, instead of using Transcendental MeditationTM. I have consistently had the same experience as when the sidhis are used on the basis of TM. I lift off and hop just as effortlessly as I do with the TM-Sidhi programme. So it would seem to me that, for whatever scientific explanaton there may be, my process of Conscious Mental Rest© provides the same consciousness state on which the sutras can 'work' effectively, including the yogic flying sutra. I must add that this is based on my own personal experience; it has not been proven scientifically.
