Philosophical Quotes
Authored By Modern-day People

The Internet is awash with the same old quotes

Most wisdom quotes we see on the Internet are statements made by already well-known or famous people. And many or most of these are statements made decades or centuries ago by philosophers or writers who are no longer with us.

These quotes get tweeted, facebooked and posted on websites and blogs ad infinitum. And, quite frankly, some of them are pretty inane and not very wise or philosophical at all.

It's time for new, original thoughts

It's time to read and write some fresh ideas, or at least some fresh and modern ways of expressing ancient wisdom. The world is now older and wiser, and more enlightened in many ways.

So, the purpose of this page is to:

  • provide a hub for fresh new wisdom quotes that can inspire today's world into expanding love and happiness well into the future;
  • invite YOU and others to share your own insights and wisdom with the world and yourself become a quoted celebrity in your own right.

Write Your Page

Start creating your own page on this site now. It's easy!

Just type into the form below. For additional hints and tips, click on the little ? button next to a heading.

If you wish, you can start of with an introductory paragraph before you start with your wisdom thoughts themselves.

At the end of each quote please type a hyphen, then a space followed by your name. This is to make it easier for others to copy and paste an individual quote along with the name of its author, for the purpose of sharing it with others. Example: - Michael Rawls

NOTE: This site does not offer free advertising. Therefore, any affiliate links or text of a commercial/promotional nature are not permitted.

If you have a website or blog: At the Author Information section...

In the Your Name box, enter your name followed by a comma and then your location (e.g. Joan Citizen, Johannesburg, South Africa)

Use the Your Location box to enter the URL of your website or blog.

If you don't have a website or blog, just use those boxes as they are labelled.

If you have a social network account (e.g. Twitter, Facebook, etc.), you can include at the end of your quotes your Username for your main social network .

Content length:

To make it viable for the search engines, if possible include more than one of your original quotes so that your page is more than a line or two in length. Alternatively, add your own comments/explanation after each quote.

Important: Be sure to add your name at the end of each item of wisdom/philosophy, preceded by a hyphen. Type it exactly how you would like others to acknowledge the quote as being your original creation - for example:
- Michael Rawls

Enter the Title: Philosophical Quotes By (Your Name)
(the webmaster may edit this to help the search engines find your page)
