Dorothee, South Africa:
Yesterday I woke up angry because I had been diagnosed as having high blood pressure and needed to take long-term medication for it. I do not relate to allopathic drugs. I decided to head for the local mall to have my blood pressure taken daily for a week, to see if it really is consistently high.
The nurse at the discount pharmaceuticals store was quite grumpy. Anyway, I decided not to react but rather to be nice to her, even kind if the opportunity arose. Within a very short time she had thawed and was far more friendly and cheerful. I too lost that feeling of awkwardness one can get when in the presence of someone who is in a bad mood.
She recorded my blood pressure on a little card which she gave me, and we parted in very good spirits. I left her a happier person, and I myself was very happy indeed too. Not only had my own mood of anger cleared completely, but I felt light and joyful that I had helpd someone else have a better day too. This stuff works! Thank you.
