Unlock Your Happiness ~ Enjoy Greater Peace of Mind

Finding Happiness

There's Light At The End Of The Tunnel

Finding happiness 'out there'
Is like trying to see your own eye.
The eye cannot see itself;
It can only see a reflection of itself in a mirror, or in a still pond.
~ Gavin Hoole

We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time.
~ T. S. Eliot

The source of happiness is not somewhere 'out there'. It is, quite literally, within one's own being. So looking outside oneself in the hope of finding happiness that is already with us, is a futile exercise.

My personal experiences validate the above

'Happiness comes from within' has been said over and over throughout the ages. And the scriptures of various religions tell us that 'the kingdom of heaven is within you'.

I am indeed fortunate enough to have experienced this truth first-hand. The first time I can remember was when I was about four years old.

I've had several other more profond experiences too that have confirmed to me without any doubt that there is a source of bliss inside us that can be tapped into, if one knows how. I've described some of these on other pages at this site.

So it is with both joy and also confidence that I can share with you the realness of such a statement, knowing that I am not simply mouthing what others have said.

Finding happiness is natural and not difficult

Another quote I remember from my own family's tradition is that the kindom of heaven (within oneself) cannot be taken by storm. This is so true too.

Human beings are 'wired' to experience the happiness within, without having to resort to magical techniques, disciplines or contrived practices. One just has to get out of one's own way, and the happiness within will unlock itself. This is explained in more detail on other pages of this site.

'Happiness comes from within' has been said over and over throughout the ages. And the scriptures of various religions tell us that 'the kingdom of heaven is within you'. So, finding happiness should be pretty simple, because we don't need to go very far to locate it.

The how-to of this is explained in more detail on other pages, with a simple, practical approach I call Conscious Mental Rest. There's a free downloadable audio course you can register for so that you can be guided each step of the way.

Children don't spend time looking for happiness

Young children don't need a way of finding happiness; they sponatneously express it without any methods or techniques to do so. It just bubbles up in innocence. When they're hungry or tired, or otherwise not feeling the natural joyful energy, only then does the happiness subside somewhat, but that drop in joy is temporary. As soon as the physiological balance is restored again, up comes the natural happiness too.

TS Eliot was spot-on

T S Eliot

Let's reflect again on Eliot's profound words:
We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time.

So, the real point here is that we can end our exploration to find happines here and now. We already have the source of happiness within us. We've reached the end of our search for the beginning.

Now all we need is the knowledge of how to unlock that happiness from its treasure chest, along with everything else that is contained in that place too. And that is available at this website, free of charge.
